Romance Through the Museum

February 2, 2009 - Emily Dimov-Gottshall

I'm the director for the local Children's Museum, Quaint Corner and we're having an upcoming event for February!  Here's our spiel on what's happening:

Tired of the same old chocolate
hearts & roses that wilt overnight?
Treat yourself & your sweetheart to
something new in town.

Through the Museums: a delightful romantic and
fun event. Tour three of Altoona’s hidden
treasure’s--Baker Mansion, the Southern
Alleghenies Museum of Art, and the
Quaint Corner Museum, while enjoying
a unique dining experience.

Please join
us for Romance through the Museums,
a progressive dinner at three
Altoona museums on Thursday, February 12.
The evening begins at 6:30 p.m. with
hors d’oeuvres at Baker Mansion, followed
by dinner at SAMA and dessert at Quaint
Corner Museum. Shuttle service will be
provided, with parking at Baker Mansion.
Tickets are $80 per person. Seating is
limited to 60. RSVP by February 6th to
Jeannine at (814) 942-3916 MasterCard and
Visa accepted. Checks made payable to Blair
County Historical Society.
